About this task

This Series C digital-asset exchange for payments (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Contracts Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–7 h a week. Takes in contract requests and moves them to signature.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It works in digital assets, where compliance and record keeping are a daily topic.

The team sits in Setúbal. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (Lisbon time).

What you deliver

• Triage new contract requests, prepare drafts from templates and track each to signature.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Monday: main working block (2 hours)
• Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
