About this task

This insurtech company (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Data Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Weekly figures and a few observations for the operating review.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.

The team sits in Lille. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Prepare the weekly business review: ten metrics, week-on-week change and three notes on what moved.
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

  • Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
  • Thursday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
  • Friday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
