About this task

This web3 infrastructure company in compliance tooling (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Data Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Weekly figures and a few observations for the operating review.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It works in digital assets, where compliance and record keeping are a daily topic.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in District of Columbia, so this one is for residents there. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

• Prepare the weekly business review: ten metrics, week-on-week change and three notes on what moved.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Thursday: main working block (2 hours)
• Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
