About this task

This b2B media company covering business news (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Data Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Weekly figures and a few observations for the operating review.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Belgium works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Prepare the weekly business review: ten metrics, week-on-week change and three notes on what moved.
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

  • Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
  • Thursday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
  • Monday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

  • Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
  • You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
