About this task
This Series B gaming platform making mobile puzzles (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior SQL & ETL Support for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Finds queries and tables that cost the most and proposes savings.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It is a games studio with release dates that move the whole calendar.
The team sits in Charleroi. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Analyse a quarter of warehouse spend and list five changes that cut cost by a target amount.
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
