About this task
This Agri-business (11–50 employees) is looking for a manager Legal Operations for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Selects and reviews outside providers.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It is an agri-business, so the calendar follows the growing season.
The team sits in New York City. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Run a review of three e-discovery providers and recommend one.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 5: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
