About this task

This Space-technology company in avionics (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Project Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–8 h a week. Keeps an outside team on scope and schedule.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in aerospace, where change control and documentation are formal.

The company prefers a person who can come to Sofia for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.

What you deliver

• Manage an agency building a website, run weekly reviews and track change requests.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Wednesday: main working block (3 hours)
• Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
