About this task

This Growth-stage web3 infrastructure company for payments (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Project Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–8 h a week. Keeps an outside team on scope and schedule.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It works in digital assets, where compliance and record keeping are a daily topic.

The company prefers a person who can come to Burbank for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

• Manage an agency building a website, run weekly reviews and track change requests.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Tuesday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
