About this task
This specialty insurer (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Financial Model Reviewer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Checks discount rates, terminal value and comparables for reasonableness.
A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The team sits in Vancouver. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Review a DCF used in a 409A request, challenge three assumptions and show the effect of each on value.
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
