About this task
This machinery maker (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Financial Model Reviewer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Checks discount rates, terminal value and comparables for reasonableness.
The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.
The team sits in New York City. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs

- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
