About this task
This staffing firm for healthcare staffing (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Business Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Writes and refines stories so engineers can start.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in staffing and HR technology, and the team is used to external specialists.
The team sits in Sherman. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Refine 25 backlog stories each week with acceptance criteria and open questions listed.
- A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Friday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
