About this task

This technology consulting firm for the public sector (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Business Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Writes and refines stories so engineers can start.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.

The team sits in Płock. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Refine 25 backlog stories each week with acceptance criteria and open questions listed.
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

  • Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
  • Thursday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
  • Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
