About this task
This boutique law firm advising lenders (51–200 employees) is looking for a specialist Business Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Writes and refines stories so engineers can start.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is a law firm; confidentiality is absolute and every file is handled under supervision.
The team sits in Marseille. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Refine 30 backlog stories each week with acceptance criteria and open questions listed.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Thursday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
