About this task

This hotel group with city hotels (5,000+ employees) is looking for a specialist Business Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Writes and refines stories so engineers can start.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The team sits in Kraków. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.

What you deliver

  • Refine 12 backlog stories each week with acceptance criteria and open questions listed.
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

  • Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
  • Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
  • Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

  • Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
  • You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
