About this task
This specialty insurer for professional liability (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Business Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Writes and refines stories so engineers can start.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from France. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.
What you deliver
- Refine 30 backlog stories each week with acceptance criteria and open questions listed.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Tuesday: main working block (2 hours)
- Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
