About this task

This retail chain with stores in six countries (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Business Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Writes and refines stories so engineers can start.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.

The company prefers a person who can come to Bucharest for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

  • Refine 20 backlog stories each week with acceptance criteria and open questions listed.
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

  • Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
  • Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
  • Monday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
