About this task

This Series B digital wealth platform for marketplaces (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Business Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Writes and refines stories so engineers can start.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It operates in regulated payments and lending, so a written trail for every decision matters.

The team sits in Bordeaux. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Refine 20 backlog stories each week with acceptance criteria and open questions listed.
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
  • Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
  • Friday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
