About this task
This boutique advisory firm for energy companies (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Business Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Writes and refines stories so engineers can start.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Austria works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Refine 30 backlog stories each week with acceptance criteria and open questions listed.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
