About this task
This beverage company in bakery products (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Supply Chain Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Compares carriers, lanes and modes.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It produces and sells food and drink, with seasonal peaks and strict labelling rules.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Washington, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Analyse freight cost per lane and recommend carrier changes.
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
