About this task

This digital bank serving small businesses (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Financial Model Reviewer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Tests that the statements balance, link and follow sound logic.

The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It is a regulated bank; the work is documented and reviewed before anything is signed off.

The team sits in Strasbourg. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.

What you deliver

• Audit a five-year three-statement model, log every error with cell references and propose fixes.
• A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
• One round of edits after the company's review is included
• A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 7: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
