About this task

This specialty retailer (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Financial Model Reviewer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Tests that the statements balance, link and follow sound logic.

A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.

The team sits in Southport. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

  • Audit a five-year three-statement model, log every error with cell references and propose fixes.
  • One round of edits after the company's review is included
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer

How the work runs

  • Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
  • Days 2 to 7: the work, with questions answered the same day
  • Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
