About this task

This edtech company (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager AI Evaluator: Tax for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 5–12 h a week. Rates AI answers on tax rules for jurisdiction, year and applicability.

The programme needs subject-matter experts who can tell a good answer from a plausible one in their own field. It works in education, with a calendar built around terms and enrolment peaks.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Oregon, so this one is for residents there.

What you deliver

  • Rate 40 AI answers on US federal and state income tax for the correct year and rule.
  • Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field
  • Ratings entered in the client's tool against the written rubric, with a one-line reason each
  • Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines

What a week looks like

  • Wednesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Friday: main working block (4 hours)
  • Tuesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: Weekly batches for 12 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
