About this task

This performance marketing agency (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Fractional Controller for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–24 h a month. Finance-side support for moving from one ledger or ERP to another.

The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It is an agency, so work is organised around client campaigns and approval rounds.

The team sits in Daugavpils. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.

What you deliver

• Own the data mapping, opening balances and parallel run for a QuickBooks-to-NetSuite migration.
• A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
• The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
• A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week

What a month looks like

• Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
• Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
• Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month

Duration: 6 months, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
