About this task

This HR software company for law firms (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager Survey & Insights Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Writes neutral questions, logic and a pilot plan.

The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.

The work is fully remote. Any location in United Kingdom works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

  • Design a 15-question customer satisfaction survey with skip logic and a pilot of 12 responses.
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
  • The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope

How the work runs

  • Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
  • Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
  • Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
  • You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
