About this task

This proptech company in office refurbishment (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager Procurement & Vendor Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Scorecards against service levels and complaints.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in real estate and construction, where project documents change often.

The team sits in Arlington. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

  • Prepare quarterly scorecards for 15 suppliers and hold review calls with the three weakest.
  • A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Tuesday: main working block (1 hours)
  • Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
