About this task

This beverage company in bakery products (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Procurement & Vendor Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Checks and registers new suppliers.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It produces and sells food and drink, with seasonal peaks and strict labelling rules.

The company prefers a person who can come to Berlin for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Onboard 20 suppliers with tax, insurance and bank checks.
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Monday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
  • Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
  • Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
