About this task
This workflow automation company for field-service companies (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a director PR & Communications for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–14 h a month. Personalised pitches to named journalists, with follow-ups and a log of replies.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Spain works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (WET).
What you deliver
- Pitch a new industry survey to 40 journalists with tailored emails and report outcomes.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 6 months, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
