About this task
This household products maker selling in 20 countries (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior PR & Communications for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–14 h a month. Personalised pitches to named journalists, with follow-ups and a log of replies.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.
The team sits in San Francisco. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Pitch a new industry survey to 40 journalists with tailored emails and report outcomes.
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 6 months, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
