About this task
This applied AI company for drug discovery (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a director AI Evaluator: Data & Analytics for a rating and review programme for AI output in your own field, 4–10 h a week. Runs AI-written queries on sample data and checks results.
The programme needs subject-matter experts who can tell a good answer from a plausible one in their own field. It builds AI products and needs human experts to check what the models produce.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Canada works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day.
What you deliver
- Run 40 AI-written SQL queries on a sample database and mark wrong joins, filters and aggregations.
- Short calibration notes after the first batch, so your ratings match the guidelines
- Flags for answers that are unsafe, off-topic or wrong in your field
- A weekly count of items reviewed, confirmed by the programme lead
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Friday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: Weekly batches for 6 weeks, renewed every four weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
