About this task
This Series B mobile games company making multiplayer shooters (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Data Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Moves a business that runs on spreadsheets into tables that can be queried.
A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It is a games studio with release dates that move the whole calendar.
The team sits in Northampton. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Move five linked spreadsheets into a database with keys, validations and a short user guide.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
