About this task

This Series B HR software company (51–200 employees) is looking for a director Financial Model Reviewer for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–12 h a month. Adds scenarios and sensitivity tables to an existing model.

The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.

The team sits in Temecula. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.

What you deliver

  • Add base, upside and downside cases and a two-way sensitivity table on price and churn to a revenue model.
  • A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
  • The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
  • A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost

What a month looks like

  • Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
  • Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
  • Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items

Duration: 6 months, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
