About this task

This boutique advisory firm for the public sector (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Financial Model Reviewer for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–12 h a month. Adds scenarios and sensitivity tables to an existing model.

The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.

The team sits in Lee's Summit. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

  • Add base, upside and downside cases and a two-way sensitivity table on price and churn to a revenue model.
  • The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
  • A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
  • A month-end summary with hours used against the cap

What a month looks like

  • Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
  • Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
  • Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month

Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
