About this task
This specialty insurer for travel (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager BI Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. A governed model that lets business users build their own reports.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The team sits in Boston. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Create a LookML explore for sales and finance with certified measures and documentation.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
