About this task

This staffing firm for tech hiring (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a specialist Phone Screener for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. Aligns recruiters on how ratings are applied.

The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. It works in staffing and HR technology, and the team is used to external specialists.

The team sits in Hamburg. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Calibrate ratings with the recruiting team on 6 recorded screens.
• Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
• No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend
• One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 3: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
