About this task
This connectivity provider serving businesses (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior BI Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Monthly pack to managers with commentary.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.
The team sits in Houston. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Prepare the monthly department pack from the BI tool with five lines of commentary per department.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
