About this task

This Digital-asset exchange (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Compliance Analyst for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–16 h a month. Screens counterparties and records the result.

A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It works in digital assets, where compliance and record keeping are a daily topic.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Alberta, so this one is for residents there. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).

What you deliver

  • Screen 80 counterparties against sanctions and adverse media lists and document each outcome.
  • A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
  • A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
  • The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result

What a month looks like

  • Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
  • Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
  • Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items

Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
