About this task

This connectivity provider in IoT connectivity (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Tax Preparation Support for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Looks at where a company may have to collect and file sales tax.

The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.

The team sits in Indianapolis. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.

What you deliver

• Analyse sales by state against nexus thresholds and produce a ranked list of states to register in.
• The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
• A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
• A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 7: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
