About this task

This boutique advisory firm for retailers (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager RevOps Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Weekly forecast with commit, best case and risk.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.

The team sits in Crawley. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

• Prepare the weekly forecast rollup and reconcile to the CRM with variances explained.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Thursday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Friday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in GBP after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
