About this task

This proptech company in office refurbishment (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist FP&A Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Calculates commissions from a plan document and closed deals.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in real estate and construction, where project documents change often.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Utah, so this one is for residents there. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).

What you deliver

• Compute October commissions for 15 reps against the written plan, with an exceptions list for review.
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Wednesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
