About this task
This Series B E-commerce platform (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager FP&A Analyst for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–20 h a month. ARR, churn, NRR and cohort figures from billing and CRM data.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.
The team sits in Napa. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Build an ARR bridge and net-revenue-retention view from Stripe and Salesforce data, with definitions.
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
What a month looks like
- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
