About this task

This hotel group in short-term rentals (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Supply Chain Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Demand, supply and gaps for the monthly meeting.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).

What you deliver

  • Prepare the monthly S&OP pack with demand plan, supply constraints and decisions.
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

  • Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
  • Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
  • Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
