About this task
This Series A applied AI company for code (11–50 employees) is looking for a specialist FP&A Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–3 h a week. Refreshes the forecast with actuals and the latest assumptions.
Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It builds AI products and needs human experts to check what the models produce.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Update the 12-month rolling forecast, reconcile to the ledger and document each change to assumptions.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Friday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
