About this task
This environmental nonprofit in education access (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior FP&A Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–3 h a week. Refreshes the forecast with actuals and the latest assumptions.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is a nonprofit, so budgets are tight and grant reporting dates are fixed.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Rhode Island, so this one is for residents there. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.
What you deliver
- Update the 12-month rolling forecast, reconcile to the ledger and document each change to assumptions.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Thursday: main working block (1 hours)
- Friday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
