About this task

This Electric-vehicle maker in EV batteries (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager FP&A Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–3 h a week. Refreshes the forecast with actuals and the latest assumptions.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is an automotive business with long programme cycles and a strong paper trail.

The team sits in Aarhus. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Update the 12-month rolling forecast, reconcile to the ledger and document each change to assumptions.
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Tuesday: main working block (1 hours)
• Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
