About this task

This Series C healthcare services group for dental practices (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Project Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Keeps risks and issues current with owners and dates.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It works in healthcare, so patient data is never part of the task and privacy rules are strict.

The team sits in Zagreb. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

• Maintain the risk log, chase owners and escalate overdue items.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Friday: main working block (2 hours)
• Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
