About this task

This Food-supply cooperative (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Project Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Keeps risks and issues current with owners and dates.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is an agri-business, so the calendar follows the growing season.

The team sits in Wolverhampton. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

  • Maintain the risk log, chase owners and escalate overdue items.
  • A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Thursday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
  • Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
  • Tuesday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
