About this task

This online travel company in short-term rentals (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Growth & Product Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Monthly cohort retention with commentary.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in California, so this one is for residents there. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).

What you deliver

  • Produce the monthly cohort retention table by acquisition channel with a one-page summary.
  • A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

  • Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
  • Friday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
  • Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
