About this task

This games studio making strategy games (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Survey & Insights Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Organises past studies so teams can find them.

The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It is a games studio with release dates that move the whole calendar.

The team sits in Madrid. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Tag and index 25 past studies in the repository and write a short how-to for the team.
• A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
• One round of edits after the company's review is included
• The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.

The midpoint of this range, €30 an hour, is in line with the median senior Survey & Insights Analyst rate in Spain (€30). The shaded band is the 25th to 75th percentile of the market.
