About this task
This consumer goods company in baby care (5,000+ employees) is looking for a director Contracts Manager for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Watches renewals and notice dates so nothing auto-renews unseen.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.
The company prefers a person who can come to Reading for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).
What you deliver
- Review upcoming renewals each month, brief owners and decide keep, renegotiate or terminate.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Friday: main working block (1 hours)
- Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
