About this task
This Series A digital wealth platform for marketplaces (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Internal Audit & SOX Support for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Tracks open findings and verifies the fixes.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It operates in regulated payments and lending, so a written trail for every decision matters.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Follow up 12 open audit findings with owners, record evidence and close those that pass re-test.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Monday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
